The BNZ  Foundation honoured one of its streams the education sector by participating in the farewell ceremony of 120 grade 7 learners at Ukukhanya Kwe Africa primary school at eMolweni Village, Hill Crest in Kwa-Zulu Natal Province.
Ms Jenny Wu the Executive Deputy Chairlady from African Chinese Women’s Association provided a message of support to learners and their parents followed by Mr Steven Chen the Director of Apollo Technology CC. Mr Chen awarded 12 most deserving grade 7 learners a bursary that amount to R2 500 per learner and R30 000 in total. This amount will be devided into school uniform and to pay school fees for grade 8 in 2018.
Furthermore an additional R25 000 will be donated to the BNZ Foundation.
At this important occasion Madam Dr Bongi Ngema-Zuma presented gifts of 120 school bags that contained stationery like pens and pencil.

The School Governing Body member Ms Gwamanda presented a vote of thanks on behalf of the school.
