The BNZ Foundation’s empowerment and economic development strategy is an important endeavor that reaches out to women and the youth from disadvantage communities by empowering them. The 2nd Hats and Heels High tea event held as an fundraising exercise for the foundation, also allows entrepreneurs to come show off their skills and offer services to interested customers.
Approximately, 200 participants attended the event and donated funds as the culture of the event and request from them. Patron and Founder of the BNZ Foundation, Madam Bongi Ngema-Zuma presented her speech and highlighted to participants the scourge that diabetes causes to our citizens. Most of the high prominent persons were among the speakers and also shared empowering words to participants.
Those in attendance included Minister Naledi Pandor, Deputy Minister Thokozile Xasa and business philanthropist Dr. Anna Mokgokong
