The Bongi Ngema-Zuma(BNZ) Foundation redeemed it’s pledge of donating a Computer and Printer to Vezokuhle Primary School in kwaMphumuza, Pietermaritzburg Kwa-Zulu Natal. The pledge was made by Madam Bongi Ngema-Zuma in May when she visited the school for the Dr PJ Zimu Wellness Day. Deputy Principal Mr Sibiya opened in prayer, Ward Counselor Mr Mbanjwa welcomes the guested followed by the address from the Department of Education-District Inspector Mr Zondi who spoke strongly about the importance of education advising learners to stay away and report drug abuse. Madam Bongi Ngema-Zuma officially handed over the computer and printer which is aimed at assisting with the schools administration. One of the foundations main pillars is Education “We believe that education is the cornerstone for growth in any developing nation, therefore we will make interventions towards the betterment of our education system”. she said. Mr Mntambo the school principal made a vote of thanks and requested BNZ Foundation to adopt the school. Learners performed poetry with anti-drug abuse messages, choral music and cultural dance. They also enjoyed fruits from the BNZ Foundation. Members of the school governing body also expressed gratitude for the donation.
