2018 WORLD DIABETES DAY COMMEMORATION
BNZ Foundation commemorated its 9th World Diabetes Day at the Favors Cathedral Church in Pretoria West on Saturday 03 November 2018. The day was kick started with some aerobics then followed by the 3km walk, which was led by Dr. Bongi Ngema-Zuma together with the Minister of Sports and Recreation Ms. Thokozile Xasa
The Big walk
Dr. Bongi Ngema-Zuma together with her Team from the Bongi Ngema-Zuma Foundation participated in the 5km walk at 'The Big Walk' in Pretoria advocating for Diabetes. Under the theme 'Choose 2 To Be Active' walking and exercising must be a lifestyle, keeps you healthy and diseases like diabetes can never win against a healthy body. #WalkAgainstDiabetes

2018 MTN WALK THE TALK WITH 702
Team BNZ participated at the 2018 MTN Walk The Talk With 702 walking for 8km to raise awareness about diabetes and the 415 million people living with diabetes.

World Tuberculosis Day Commemoration
Annually, on 24 March it marks World TB Day. The BNZ Foundation participated and commemorated this significant day on 27 March 2018. Tuberculosis developed frequently in patients with poor diabetes control leading to the double burden of the two diseases among themselves. The theme for 2018 being: “Wanted: Leaders for a Free TB – World”.

Grade 7 Valediction
The BNZ Foundation togetherness with the ACWA held a farewell ceremony of 120 grade 7 learners of Ukukhanya Kwe Africa Primary School. The learners were presented with awards and gifts to wish them well in their high school period.

The Bongi Ngema-Zuma Foundation in partnership with the Kuzondlula Motivational Tour at Eqinisweni High School, its was part of the "Its Possible I Can Do It Tour". More than 2000 learners were addressed and a message of support was given to the matriculants class of 2017
Everyday is Mandela Day for the BNZ Foundation
As The Foundation we kicked off the Mandela Month programme in June with a visit to a home for the elderly in Mamelodi Pretoria.
